iPad 3: will it flop or fly?

The iPad 3 announcement is due quite soon, probably in the next 3 weeks. Being the new itineration in the Apple iPad line it will be a major upgrade;maybe. Below is a list of what rumors are saying the iPad 3 will poses and you can be the judge if it's a major or minor upgrade. A Retina Display The iPad 3 is rumored to have a 2048x1536 pixel screen, likely to be made by sharp,lg or Samsung. One apple employee even said to the NYT that this display was "truly amazing". The iPad is the only IOS device with out the high resolution screen. A New Processor and Battery Life Judging from past year patterns, the iPad 3 will have an "Apple A6" chip in it. Making it faster and hopefully giving the user an even better gaming experience. The battery life on some new tablets like the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is said to have an 18hour battery life! That's 80% better than the iPad 2's! This however is rumored to make the device slightly thicker than the current 8.8mm which makes the iPad 2. the iPad 3 also may hold a quod core chip as opposed to its current dual core processor. Siri and Cameras Siri, Apple's Intelligent voice assistant will also quite probably be on the iPad 3. Joining the 4S. Hopefully they won't use it as the selling point this time as they did with the 4S. The 0.9 and 0.7 megapixel cameras aren't the best for FaceTime or photos. They seriously are really bad. We know that they want to retain the thinness and all but new technology has come out which hopefully they'll add to the iPad 3. They've done it on all the other tablets the iPad is falling behind(luckily for apple though not in sales). 4G and Conclusion 4G LTE is the new thing for almost all the new devices in America. But Australia is just starting to roll it out. what will apple do? Probably make a 3G and 4G device and give the 4G one slightly better specs. Who knows this time next year 3G maybe dead to Australia. So 3 deiifeent types(wifi, 3G and 4G) will probably be the way to go. In conclusion, I think the iPad 3 will appeal and sell to millions of people as apple does best. If you're an iPad 2 user like me, the upgrade is minor but the original iPad user will hopefully deserve it.
