Google to Make a Self-Branded Tablet?

According to recent rumors, Google will be producing a self-branded 7"Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) tablet and will be released to consumers in April. Judging from the rumored $199 price tag, this will be a contender against the Kindle Fire. One specification also mentioned was a 1280 by 800 resolution display. No other specs have been mentioned from our sources.

However, for a $199 price tag you probably won't get the full tablet experience. The Google tablet is also rumored to be tied in with the Nexus line. In my opinion, I think this tablet won't do too well unless it offers more than a Kindle Fire really. A price tag under $199 will however make these sell like crazy!
